Our Host City - Edinburgh

Edinburgh is the Capital City of Scotland and one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. It is a place of deep culture and history, the city of Robert Louis Stevenson and J K Rowling, a city steeped in medicine, law and literature, and now a city with the UK’s largest tech incubator.

Our accomodation will be The Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel located in the enviously central Grassmarket area of the city, surrounded by bars and restaurants and overlooked by Edinburgh Castle itself.

We are investigating potential venues for the daytime sessions and the evening activities/meals.

We have negotiated a special rate for GOF attendees of £190 per night (Thursday-Saturday) including breakfast and all taxes.

Other GOF costs tbc (e.g. to cover dinners, extra-curricular activities, meeting room hire, etc)
